This week, Larry will be bringing me our new car. Actually, an old car, but our recent purchase. We now have a 1993 Buick Riviera. It has a little work needed on the body, but mechanically is perfect. I already have a new headlight assembly, blinker assembly and front grill. I am in contact with some collector/junkyards to get another electric antennae and the logo that goes on the trunk.
This will be Eloise’s cruiser. Unless I’m driving. With her new job, the better fuel mileage will be a great asset. The Sequoia only gets 16-17mpg. The Riviera is expected to get 10mpg better. I will sell the 03 Ford van and drive the Sequoia.
We will take Larry to the Amtrak station on Friday and he will go down to Castro Valley to Kat’s sisters house to be with their daughters wedding. Kat is driving up from Arizona on Friday and will meet him there.
