Short note

We’ve good news and not so good news for this week.

Sad news is that we lost our cousin Chris Junior this past week. I believe that he was 85 years old. He will be missed. Memories of Chris are mainly of his humor and his laugh, especially when he and cousin Ralph would get going.

The good news is that I had the procedure on my back last Tuesday. It seems to be working. Pain level is down today. I’m sore from the entry points, but that is quite different from the stabbing hot poker, shooting, aching, constant pain radiating from L5 and S1 down my legs to my knees. When all of the pain meds lessen, I will know how well it worked. The Doc said that it may take from 3 days to 3 weeks for the procedure to take full effect. I’m going back to work tomorrow so that may give a better idea on how well this may work.

Amanda and Ben got married on September 29, 2022. Amanda’s daughters were the “unofficial” witnesses. Eloise and I were the adult witnesses. We then gathered with Adam and Macie’s family for a celebration that afternoon at , Ben’s choice, a seafood restaurant. We then stopped off at ColdStone for desert before getting Eloise Renee to work and dropping Amanda and Ben off in downtown Boise for them to celebrate.

The insurance has just approved the next procedure in the “Keith’s Back Saga”. The first 2 temporary procedures netted a favorable result, so the next step is scheduled for next week. The ablation should relieve the pain enough to keep the prescription use to a minimum, possibly to discontinue it’s use completely. I’m told that the procedure usually lasts for 10-12 months, possibly longer. Since I’ve been dealing with this for over 35 years, I cannot imagine not having to consider it in everything that we do. We’re praying and hopeful, but a little skeptical.

Everyone should listen to Ted Nugent’s “Spirit Campfire”. His rants are funny, but truthful. On the Sept 30/Oct 1st podcast he brings to light the truth of the costs regarding electric vehicles. It is very informative. Manufacturing the batteries alone causes more pollution than the auto saves in exhaust. Then the cost of charging the car by using coal, oil, natural gas, etc., is contrary to the propaganda used to sell them. The tree huggers don’t want to use nuclear or hydro power  (it harms?? the fish, you know). His continuing information on the “shot” (not vaccine) is also very informative as the shot doesn’t fit the definition of a vaccine. Check out his podcast that are run weekly on the Real Americas Voice. I watch on the Real Americas Voice (channel 1029 here on the Samsung TV app) I also have the app on my phone. You can find Ted on the net here:  https://americasvoice.news/playlists/ted-nugent-spirit-campfire/ I don’t like his style of music, although he has an awesome version of The Star Spangled Banner”! However, his moto of “Truth, Logic, Common-Sense, the Ten Commandments, the Bill of Rights and the Bible” cannot be refuted as the best ever stated. And he states it over and over during his Spirit Campfire show.
